At the end of last year there were a series of articles discussing how arable land is being purchased in developing countries, with limited thought or communication with locals. As our lack of sustainability threatens food and water supplies, many anticipate the price of food will go up. As population increases, not only is demand expected to exceed supply, but competition for land becomes more intense. This activity once again prompts various ethical questions about the relationship between wealthy and less wealthy groups in a resource constrained world. If you have come across any of these issues we'd love to hear from you.
