2. Leap Local’s 2012 Travel Story Competition (deadline August 31st)
Accepting story submissions now until midnight August 31st 2012 in your time zone
If you have a travel story involving local people, or a tale of mishaps because you didn't use a local expert - whether the story be hilarious, exciting, gorgeous or terrifying - you are invited to enter this competition. Your submission will be judged by authors, travel writers, journalists, and other industry professionals. First prize is $500 USD and there are two $150 USD runner-up prizes.
