Leap Local Competition

Leap Local’s 2012 Travel Story Competition

Accepting story submissions now until midnight August 31st 2012 in your time zone

More than one entry allowed  per participant (but each entry must be made separately)

If you have a personal travel story involving local people, or a tale of mishaps because you didn't use a local expert, or want to share a unique circumstance effected by the culture or environment you engaged with on your travels - whether the story be hilarious, exciting, gorgeous or terrifying - you are invited to enter this competition. Your submission will be judged by authors, travel writers, journalists, and other industry professionals. The competition is free to enter. Please read the guidelines carefully. First prize is $500 USD and there are two $150 USD runner-up prizes.
