Description

I received 3 tattoos that I couldn't get any where else in the world, and had a historical and cultural lesson from Mokomae as he worked.

I also watched Mokomae perform in Kari Kari -- the island's dance troupe. When you see the Rapa Nui perform, all mystery as to how the gigantic Moai (the big stone heads on Easter Island) were transported, vanishes. It's obvious that the Rapa Nui people could work together to move monoliths!
Best bits: Experiencing something completly unique and specific to this one place in the world.
Worst bits: The sun on the island is the strongest I've experienced in the world. You might want to save the tattoo until the end of your trip so you can enjoy the salt water and outdoors fully.
