Description

We went on a 12-day trek from Ollantaytambo to Choquequirao. We took a horse for the first 3 days to help get our food store into the mountains. Then we were our own pack animals... Alex returned to Ollantaytambo, solo. He was friendly, professional and willing throughout.

Expect to pay Alex 25 soles per day, and pay up to 30 soles per day for a horse. He can probably procure his own tent and sleeping bag, but if you can bring one, the better. And of course remember to plan food for him, too.
Best bits: Friendly, professional, willing
Worst bits: None
