Description:
Julio is a highly skilled wood worker - carpenter is not the word because he makes beautiful carved frames and boxes, great souvenirs if you can carry them! He is happy to show you his work, let you watch and teach you in his rustic workshop in an old Inca room.

Chloe Waters spent 2 hours or less with Julio Farfan.
Description
I had a great visit with Julio in his workshop. He made a beautiful frame for me, and we had a fun conversation.
Best bits: Julio is a really friendly and fun guy. I felt really comfortable right when we stepped into his studio which is filled with beautifully carved frames and wood shavings on the floor.
Worst bits: I wish I had more time to watch him work and talk with him over a frutillada.
