Tours to Huchuy Qosqo (2 days) from Cusco and Lares from Ollantaytambo/Cusco (2-3 days). And to Choquekirau (4-5 days). Salkantay, mountain bike Valley tours (Huasao, Tipon), horseriding, Inka jungle.

On foot or horseback and with mules to carry kit if necessary.

My boyfriend and I went on the Lares trek with Jose, also known as 'Pantera'
We walked from the Lares hot water springs to Ollantaytambo.
Amazing views and landscapes! Recommendable route!

Best bits: funny, helpfull, contact with the local people, patience with us bad hikers!

Worst bits: walks fast sometimes!

Description

We went horebackriding for 1 day to the weavers communities Patacancha and Huilloc
The next day we hiked up the Pumamarka Inka fortress.

It was all really amazing!!!

Best bits: excellent guide, Jose really cared about us as tourists and translated in the villages from Quechua to Spanish / English!

Description

Jose took me on a fabulous five hour horseback riding tour to Pumamarca way up the valley from Ollantaytambo. The horses wee terrific - paso peruvian with great temperaments and smooth brisk gaits, and the exploration was breathtaking. We walked the last bit - after the horses gave up climbing - and Jose gave me a great understanding of the ruin and the Incan activities around it. A memorable day!

Best bits: Horses, scenery, and Pumamarca ruin

Worst bits: Forgot my sunscreen!
