Ramesh K spent a whole day with Marampata Camping.
Description
I stayed one night and bought some simple provisions from their store. Marampata is on a shoulder that holds the late afternoon sun and has stunning views, which makes it a nicer spot to camp than Choquequirao itself, which is a mere 4km further on and easily doable the next morning. The family are friendly and chatty.
Best bits: Awesome views
Worst bits: A touch cold at night, but it is 3000m!
