Inappropriate / Inaccurate? Juan Carlos Manilla and Daniel Manilla - Ukhupacha Pub

Description:

Abancay is a popular stop-over between the long drives of Cusco to Nasca, or from Ayacucho to Cusco.

Ukhupacha's father and son team of bartenders serve up a Pisco Sour in this hugely stocked, classy, basement pub, that is made with love and flair, fresh ingredients, and is hand shaken into frothy perfection.

Just 6 Soles per cocktail and the taste and size of the Pisco Sours far exceeds those recommended at establishments in the famous guide books.

The pub attracts local business folk. Don't let the word "video" pub on the sign disuade you from entering. This is not loud, or an arcade, or filled with gambling machines, like many of the bars that advertise as video bars in Abancay.

Description

I had pisco sours.

Best bits: This is the best Pisco Sour I've consumed in Peru.
Worst bits: None. I wish I'd discovered Ukhupacha the first time I visited Abancay.
