If you are looking for a great stay, a great experience and a well educated tourguide then Marco perez would be an excellent choice. my stay in Peru was an amzing time, and i owe alot of that to marco. His friendly attitude and lovely house made my stay an absolute delight. i also went on a 3 day hiking tour to macchu picchu through Marco's tours, it was well worth the experience, time and money

Description
Nevado Helancoma - Mountain Climb
Tour of Cusco
Best bits: We selected the 17,500 ft peak Nevado Helancoma using Google Earth and then went serching for the guide... Marco Perez was selected. He provided the extremely professional services which included a meeting at the Cusco Airport where we made final arrangements for our climb... we then separated for 3 days for aclimitazation in Ollantaytambo. On the 4th day Marco and a driver picked us up ... he arranged for climbing gear, tents, two porters, a cook, and a horse driver to carry canned gas to base camp. We started at about 12,000 feet ... a curve in the road and established a basecamp on the first day at about 15,000 feet. The porters and cook were super clean in their habits... and provided great food... The porters stayed in the cook tent with the cook. I live at sea level and was 65 years of age at the time ... climbing with a 63 year old brother in law. Marco was a great guide and his glacier skills were perfect. Marco does many other adventures... but this one was a trip of a lifetime.
Worst bits: None... Marco was a professional ... nothing was left to chance.

Description
I stayed at his lovely house, and with his beautiful family for nearly three months.
Best bits: Macchu Picchu, rafting, hot meals daily, social accomodation.
Worst bits: the altitude sickness
