Karina is so much more than "just the property manager" at Caribbean Cottage Club on Grenada. She really knows the pulse of the island and didn't even flinch when I asked if she knew where I could join up with local "hashers." (This is an event, not anything to involving hashish, in case you're wondering!)She was accurately able to determine which waterfall hikes I could handle with a broken toe, and when I asked where I could find traditional oil down, she offered the on-site gardner to cook some for us. Her blonde dreadlocks and stories of sailing around the world add to the mix. We'll definitely be back...providing she lets us back after the zany argument my husband and I had the second evening of our stay.

Description

We stayed 2 nights prior to island hopping to Carriacou. Karina was able to make great suggestions about how to fill our day.

Best bits: Karina's just a fascinating person. She saved me from going on a strenuous hike with my broken toe, but steered me to a "strenuous but manageable" hike. Nice view of sailboats from the massive (shared) front balcony.
Worst bits: My husband liked the place so much, he didn't really want to head on to the next island.
