The Best Cities For A Bachelor Party In America

Other than the Big Day itself, of course, there is one day that all your closest friends and family are counting down till. And, obviously, that is the killer bachelor party.

No pressure, Best Man, but this has to be the biggest and best party that the groom-to-be has ever experienced.

Best Cities In America For A Weekend Bachelor Party

We’re talking about a breakaway that will be talked about for years to come. Remember when we went there and insert ridiculously crazy no-one-would-ever-believe-it story here happened?

And for a party that amazingly epic, it needs to be hosted in a city worthy of such tales being told.

So sit back, relax, maybe even open a 6-pack, and delve deep into an article that will recommend only the best and booming cities to host the world’s best bachelor party (Also check out Cities In America Every Single Guy Should Visit).

1. Las Vegas, Nevada

Coming in strong, we’ve got Las Vegas. Have you ever heard a boring story that started with this one time in Vegas..? Of course, you haven’t.

First of all, because what happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas. Secondly, because it’s impossible to not get yourself into some kind of chaos in the United States entertainment capital.

No matter what kind of bachelor party you’re looking for, you’ll find it in this bustling and booming city. From great golfing trips to great gambling, from soothing spas to noisy nightlife it has it all.

The strip provides all the entertainment you could ever want, there will be endless alcohol, and tons of great people to meet.

For the ultimate experience be sure to book your trip for the weekend when the evenings really get going.

2. South Beach, Florida

Where better to venture than to a destination labeled as the sexiest place on Earth for your last night of freedom?

South Beach is essentially one long year-round party, so you don’t have to worry about the night slowly coming to life. The right vibe will greet you from the second you enter the city.

For a more relaxing daytime, you can spend time at the beach and catch a tan, or if you’re looking for a non-stop action-packed adventure, there are tons of boat parties and pub crawls calling your name.

Just ensure that some serious stamina for the weekend ahead is on your checklist of things to pack.

Because these parties keep going until the early hours of the next morning in clubs such as Amnesia, Wax, Priv, and Liquid. Be sure to check out Ocean Drive and the Collins Avenue too.

3. Scottsdale, Arizona

Not everyone is looking for a heavy-drinking bachelor party, and that’s absolutely fine. It’s all about what’s best for the groom. And one pretty popular trend of late is golfing bachelor parties.

If that sounds like something your party is going to love then you need to check out Scottsdale in Arizona.

You’ll definitely have your pick of courses, there are only, I don’t know, about 200 courses to choose from (!!)

Once you’ve finished, and hopefully lost miserably to the groom-to-be, you can go for a drink or two at SIX which has a great dance floor and even an ice bar.

But that’s not all, there is also tons of places for a spot of shopping and a gorgeous waterfront too.

4. New Orleans, Louisiana

If you’re looking for a bit of life, you’ll definitely find it in New Orleans. This is one of my favorite places for a bachelor party.

If you can, try and schedule it for the beginning of February when you’ll be able to join in all the bountiful Mardi Gras festivities taking place.

If this time frame doesn’t work out for you, though, don’t despair as there is always something cool happening at Bourbon Street regardless of the time of year.

A trip to New Orleans is never complete without trying the famous hurricane so make sure to direct your party to Pat O’Brien’s Bar to sample one. I can promise you’ll be in good hands there.

From there you can then make your way through the many different bars and activities on offer. Place a bet in Harrah’s casino or belt your lungs out at the local karaoke bars. Video recorders at the ready – obviously.

5. Memphis, Tennessee

If drinking is the main theme of your bachelor party like it is for many, then why not cart yourselves off to a city with pretty much the most lenient alcohol laws across the whole of the US?

Drinking outside is A-Okay in Memphis so you can keep the party rolling even when you’re on the go.

Beale street will be the place to be with a plethora of late-night bar options. Club after club line the street, your hardest decision will be deciding which of the neon-lit bars to try first.

Though I would definitely recommend trying out the famous and totally iconic Coyote Ugly saloon.

And what could be a more perfect hangover cure than the many delights of Memphis’ food specialties?

6. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is the perfect option for grooms who are wanting a little bit of everything during their special weekend away. There’s literally everything you could ever ask for in this sweet spot in South Carolina.

Want a great golf course? It’s got you covered. A beautiful beach? It’s got that too. Bar after bar that won’t shut until long after the sun sets? Yep, that too. Strip clubs? Adrenaline pumping activities? Water sports? Yep, yep, yep. You get the picture.

7. New York City

If you’re looking to go all day and all night long, no city can better facilitate you than the city that never sleeps. New York has tons to offer and so much time to do it all too since the city is basically never closed.

For sports fans, catching a Knicks or a Yankee game will be pretty epic and then, of course, the party can then continue into the late night and early morning.

There are tons of great bars and clubs to check out. PINK is a club definitely worthy of your consideration.

There are also plenty of clubs for a strip show where the party can even be taken back to your hotel room for a private show. And then, do I really need to say about the plentiful shopping opportunities in NYC – I don’t think so.

8. Denver, Colorado

Action-packed days and long nights partying sound good to you? Of course, it does. Well, then, you’ll want to book Denver as your bachelor party destination.

You can enjoy the many skiing facilities during the day and then venture into the amazing parties during dusk.

There are also loads of small tap rooms where you can experience some quality alcoholic beverages. There are always comedy shows on at The Comedy Works, and they have a shooting range too.

Denver is also a pretty cheap place to be so is perfect for all our budget bachelors.

9. Austin, Texas

If good drinks and great grub are what you’re looking for then Austin is here to accommodate.

Texas is well-known for its music so you won’t have any problems finding some to dance to and a venture to 6th Street will find you some of the best bars around.

Then you’ll have just as great of a time tucking into some of the best barbecues you’ll ever have the pleasure of tasting. Like, the food here is seriously out of this world.

Live Oak Barbecue and Sam’s BBQ definitely need to be tried while in Austin – it would be criminal not to.

10. Grand Canyon/ Yellowstone/ Yosemite

As I mentioned a little earlier in this article, not everyone is chasing the world’s worst hangover the morning after their bachelor party. And that is well within their rights.

We slightly older folks are well aware that our bodies can’t handle hangovers quite like the young’ens, right?

There are no rules when it comes to bachelor parties. Okay, maybe one – keep the groom happy. But you don’t have to drink if you don’t want to is what I’m saying.

A perfect alternative is an adventure away, sitting under the stars, horse-riding, river rafting, or backpacking. It’s still a life-changing experience…just with less booze. And you couldn’t find a better destination for this kind of bachelor party than the Grand Canyon.

Final Thoughts

Regardless of the kind of bash you’re considering throwing, I can promise that you’ll find what you’re looking for in any of the cities mentioned throughout this article.

So what are you waiting for? Get researching these fantastic cities and book a bachelor party to top all parties that have ever existed before.

Your groom-to-be will definitely owe you one after this weekend away! So, give them the send-off they deserve as they leave behind their last night of freedom and venture into the magical, wonderful, and somewhat stressful world of married life.
