To give you an idea of what you can expect to get from this mall should you pay a visit, this mall also contains an escape room, an aquarium, an indoor theme park, a golf course and a whole lot more!

As we have already mentioned above, the Mall of America has plenty of floor space – which means that you’re going to want to make sure that you are wearing your comfortable shoes if you decide to pay a visit!

2. American Dream

The American Dream is our next mall. At the time of writing this guide, American Dream is currently the second largest mall situated in the United States and comes complete with over 3 million square feet of retail space to enjoy and explore.

Along with plenty of shopping, American Dream also just so happens to be home to the Dreamworks Water Park.

This is currently the largest indoor water park in the country and also comes complete with a huge ferris wheel that offers views of the NYC skyline, as well as an indoor-ski resort, too!

The next mall that we have to share with you is King of Prussia Mall! Unlike the other two malls that we have already listed so far, the King of Prussia Mall stands out because it focuses specifically on celebrating the experience and history of the American mall.

Thanks to that, here at King of Prussia Mall you will be able to discover over 450 stores where you are sure to be able to find everything it is that you’re looking for.

From designer outlet stores all the way to retail favorites, there’s truly something for everyone here at King of Prussia Mall.

Plus, boasting over 2.9 million square feet to explore, King of Prussia mall is the fourth largest mall in the country and the largest mall (at the time of writing this guide) on the East Coast. Each year, this mall gets around 20 million visitors!

4. South Coast Plaza

Next up on our list we have the South Coast Plaza. Fun fact: this mall is currently the fourth largest mall in the entirety of the country, so it only makes sense that we decided to include it as the fourth mall on our list!

The South Coast Plaza is unlike any other mall that we have on this list for one distinct reason – it’s home to a thriving arts center!

One of the largest malls in the Floridian area, Aventura Mall is located right in the middle of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and just so happens to be one of the best malls to shop at if you want to do a little luxury shopping.

With a focus on luxury names, here at Aventura Mall you’ll find no shortage of luxury and designer brands for you to browse.

That being said, you should keep in mind that if you’re planning to make a visit here, you might not find some of the popular retail favorites that offer a lower price point.

Still, whether you’re looking to splurge or not – Aventura is most definitely worth the visit. The mall is welcoming and friendly, and even offers a thriving food court area that ranges from fast food favorites all the way to upscale fine dining restaurants.

6. Del Amo Fashion Center

This next mall that we have to share with you is called Del Amo Fashion Center and is located in California, Los Angeles.

As you might have guessed from the name of this mall, Del Amo Fashion Center is known for being a hub for all things fashion and style!

If you decide to pay a visit here, you’ll have over 200 stores to choose from that range from retail favorites all the way to designer luxury stores.

Plus, besides offering all things fashion – the Del Amo Fashion Center is also known for its movie theater where you can catch a movie after you’re done shopping, as well as plenty of delicious restaurants in their dining court area.

8. Destiny USA

If you’ve ever had the chance to visit the Big Apple (or, should we say, New York City) then you might have already been to this huge mall without realizing. Let’s check it out:

This is one of the largest malls in the country, so it should certainly come as no surprise to hear that this mall is New York’s largest and one of the most popular shopping destinations in the city.

If you do decide to go ahead and pay a visit to this mall, you will have over 250 shops to explore (yes, you read that right) as well as a large food court that will satisfy your food cravings after you’ve worked up an appetite from exploring all of the many stores that this mall currently has to offer.

This next mall that we have to recommend to you is a unique shopping mall because this location was originally used as an AirForce training base for soldiers during the first world war. Interesting, right?

After the war came to an end, the base was no longer needed. Due to this, it was then decided that the base would be transformed into a thriving shopping mall, which is how the Roosevelt Field Mall came to be.

So, what makes this mall so great and worth the visit? Well, besides its large size (trust us, you could spend the day walking around this place) there’s currently over 243 stores that includes everything from Bloomingdale’s all the way to Macy’s!

10. Sawgrass Mills

Heading back over to the South, we’ve got Sawgrass Mills! This is the place to be if you’re in the mood to shop and indulge in some yummy food, as this mall is known for its thriving food court area.

It’s located not too far from Miami and will take you around 35 minutes to get there – that is, if you can escape that Miami traffic!

Still, like we’ve said, if you’re interested in indulging in some delicious food on your shopping trip in the states and you just so happen to be heading to Miami, you aren’t going to be disappointed with making the visit to Sawgrass Mills.

As for the shops? Well, besides having plenty of delicious dining options for you to choose from after you work up an appetite shopping and enjoying a little retail therapy (there’s currently 16 fine-dining restaurants at this shopping mall) there’s also 335 stores and even 70 luxury outlets at the time of writing. From GUCCI to Prada – it’s a must visit!

11. Ala Moana Center

As you might have already guessed from the name, this next mall that we have to share with you is situated on the sunny, tropical island of Honolulu, Hawaii!

If you’ve been thinking about going to Hawaii for quite some time and need a little extra convincing, then this shopping mall ought to do it!

This stunning shopping mall located in Hawaii is an open air shopping mall that boasts over 350 stores and plenty of delicious dining options to boot.

Along with all of the great food and shopping to explore, the Ala Moana Center is also home to a beautiful amphitheater which will allow you to enjoy a variety of outdoor music concerts, live performances and even traditional Hula dances that take place all year round.

Not only that, but this shopping mall is also home to plenty of other entertainment activities including an indoor ropes course, a comedy club, a bowling alley, an ice skating rink and plenty of other things.

It’s also located around 18 miles from central New York, so it’s great to visit if you’re going to be heading to the city.

Plus, given the fact that this shopping mall is located so close to the city, it means that the Palisades Center Shopping Mall is one of the busiest shopping malls near New York City.

16. Westfield Garden State Plaza

However, given the fact that Tysons Corner Center does have around 1.8 million square feet to explore, it still makes it one of the biggest shopping malls in the whole country, so it’s definitely deserving of a spot on this list.
