1. Kennicott Glacier Lodge, Alaska

Straight out of the park, let’s kick this off with a honeymoon destination that is a little off the beaten track.

Many people dream of visiting Antarctica in their lifetime, but if it is snow, ice, glaciers, and solitude that you crave, you should definitely consider a trip to Alaska.

Of all the different resorts in Alaska, one of our ultimate favorites is the Kennicott Glacier Lodge.

This lodge is located in the USA’s largest national park – Wrangell-St Elias National Park -, and it is surrounded by immense natural beauty.

Its location in the National Park allows this resort to be the perfect balance of luxury, relaxation, and adventure.

If you can’t book an all-inclusive package on your honeymoon, when can you?

This hotel offers two different all-inclusive packages including the Kennicott Explorer Package and the Wrangell-St Elias Adventure package. Both of these offer amazing opportunities to explore this stunning National Park.

While you will need to find your own transportation to the lodge – either by plane or by car -, once you reach the lodge everything you need will be included in the cost.

Transportation to/from the airport will be provided, as well as transportation for any off-site excursions.

All the activities that the lodge offers will also be included in the cost – such as mountain biking, alpine hiking, ice climbing, glacier hiking, and lots more.

No matter whether you want to admire the natural beauty of this National Park from the comfort of the lodge, or you want to throw yourself into the adventure of the trip, it is clear this is a great honeymoon destination.
